I was awarded Second Place in the Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital AI Idea Contest, competing against 97 teams and 168 participants. The competition challenged participants to develop innovative AI chatbot solutions that improve the lives of patients with various medical conditions. Our team proposed an AI chatbot designed to support Alzheimer's patients and ease the burden on both patients and their caregivers.
I received Third Place in the Korean School Safety Accident Data Analysis & Utilization Competition, out of 128 teams. The competition required participants to analyze five years of school safety accident data and propose evidence-based solutions to reduce school accidents.
I competed in the Business Professionals of America (BPA) Startup Enterprise competition, where my team placed 6th out of 75 teams. The competition consisted of two rounds. In the first round, teams submitted a comprehensive business proposal outlining the product, operations plan, financial projections, and organizational structure. In the final round, teams pitched their business idea to a panel of judges.
The Global Youth Fund provides secondary school students with funding and mentorship to implement community projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this international competition, projects can receive up to $3,000 in grant funding.
I received the Encouragement Award in the Middle and High School Division of the KT K-AI Contents Award, an AI competition themed "Creating a Happy World with AI." The competition required participants to design an AI-generated poster that demonstrated artistic creativity, prompt engineering skills, and an understanding of AI ethics.
I received a Bronze Award in the Design Thinking & Speech Contest at the 2025 World Invention School Expo. In the first round, teams developed a seven-page report identifying a school problem, proposing an innovative solution, and documenting their design thinking process and collaboration. In the second round, finalists presented their ideas through a three-minute speech.
I was selected as a Finalist and received the Outstanding Award in the Create Essay Competition in June 2025, an international essay competition that receives more than 500 entries each month. Participants submitted essays of over 750 words, which were evaluated based on logic, literature review, writing style, innovation, and structure. Selected essays were published, and participants who scored 80% or higher received the Outstanding Award.
I competed in the Purple Comet! Math Meet, an international online math competition that tests students' problem-solving and logical reasoning as a team. In 2024, more than 4,500 teams from over 80 countries took part. As part of a six-member team, we placed 2nd in the Large School Division among South Korean high schools, solving 30 math problems in 90 minutes.
I received the Community Service Award from the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Council of Social Welfare (SSN) in recognition of my contributions to the local community through environmental mural projects, the promotion of Jeju Haenyeo culture, and volunteer service supporting vulnerable populations. The award recognized my commitment to community engagement and social welfare through service initiatives.
When I attended the 2025 Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference in Orlando, I had the opportunity to take the Entrepreneurship and Small Business certification exam as part of the entrepreneurship event. Iām glad to say I earned the certification. To prepare for the exam, I dedicated more than five hours to studying entrepreneurship concepts before passing the assessment and receiving the official credential.

Selected by the teachers, I was recognized for consistently demonstrating the IB Learner Profile attributes throughout Grade 11, including being a thinker, communicator, inquirer, risk-taker, and principled, knowledgeable, caring, balanced, reflective, and open-minded individual, both inside and outside the classroom.

I actively took part in class discussions about design principles and the design process, and strengthened my understanding of user-centered design by asking questions and continuously seeking feedback from my teacher.

Presented to one Grade 10 student. I earned this award through perfect scores on my Computer Science projects, driven by my dedication to and passion for the subject. In Unit 1, I enjoyed developing a vocabulary game for a kindergarten student using Python. In Unit 2, I built a smart farming project using Arduino. Throughout the course, I regularly checked in with my teacher to continuously improve my projects and learn new concepts.
