Internship: AI Big Data Exhibition Research and Interbird Meeting (2025)

Grade 10

During my 2025 summer internship at Interbird, I participated in the AI & Big Data Show 2025 to explore AI technologies and identify new business opportunities for BadaTime, Interbird's marine information platform. The exhibition brought together numerous technology companies, providing opportunities for Interbird to connect with partner organizations and discover innovative AI solutions.

Throughout the exhibition, I researched how businesses apply artificial intelligence in real-world settings, exploring technologies such as voice recognition AI, semiconductors, AI computing servers, and Google NotebookLM— an experience that deepened my understanding of how technology is used in businesses.

As part of the internship, I also attended a meeting with the Korea Institute of Ocean Science & Technology (KIOST) to discuss how big data and artificial intelligence could enhance the BadaTime platform. We explored the idea of developing an AI chatbot that analyzes tidal data and converses with users to recommend the best times for fishing and provide personalized marine information. Through the discussion, I learned that AI could be used to improve user experience.

What I'd learned in my Business Management and Computer Science courses helped me follow both the technical concepts and the business considerations discussed throughout the exhibition and meetings, thus allowing me to sharpen my ability to communicate professionally with industry experts.
