Work Experiences

During my summer and winter breaks over multiple years, I interned at Interbird, an IT company specializing in big data extraction and search engine solutions. Interbird develops Alldatasheet, a global electronic component search engine, and Badatime, a real-time marine information platform, with a combined monthly user base of more than 17 million users.

As an intern, I researched semiconductor components and organized technical information into company databases. While handling large-scale data entry, I identified opportunities to improve efficiency by automating repetitive workflows and contributed to the development of an automation program that could extract multiple compressed files simultaneously and automatically retrieve relevant technical information. The solution significantly cut down manual data-entry work was adopted across the business.

I also participated in the development of an AI-powered chatbot for Alldatasheet, designed to help users quickly access semiconductor information before reviewing full datasheets. To better understand user needs, I conducted market research and analyzed customer segments, identifying engineers as the platform's primary users— professionals who frequently compare multiple semiconductor components. Based on this research, I proposed an AI-powered chatbot that could significantly reduce search time and minimize the need to manually review numerous datasheets.

To pitch this vision, I presented the proposal to three company executives. After receiving positive feedback, I joined the product development team, where I contributed to user interface (UI) design, API integration, and web development. Working alongside professional software engineers, I participated in weekly development meetings where I shared ideas and discussed project progress.

The internship experience allowed me to grow as a programmer, designer, and business-minded problem solver by applying my technical skills to real-world business projects, and taught me how to collaborate and communicate effectively with professionals in a real world business setting.
