I participated in the AI-ICT Assistive Technology Competition, where participants were asked to propose an AI-ICT assistive technology that improves the quality of life for people with disabilities, identifying real-world problems and presenting innovative solutions.

I proposed Sonmal Teacher (손말쌤), an AI-powered sign language assistant designed to reduce communication barriers between Deaf and hearing individuals. The platform combines machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) to recognize Korean Sign Language, translate conversations in real time, and provide personalized sign language learning. Through interactive practice sessions and AI-powered feedback, users can improve their communication skills.

Sonmal Teacher aims to make sign language education more accessible and promote a more inclusive society.
